Finally, computing has proven its worth with the release of The University Leisure and Lifestyle Manager (software that will work on a smartphone or handheld computer):
"If students are into academia, then the text book service and the feedback on assessment will be handy," he told BBC News Online. "But it can also have social aspects built into it such as personalised guides to local pubs." His favourite feature - Take Me Home, I'm Drunk - is most likely to be used after students have taken advice on the best pubs in the area. It sends a message to a local taxi firm, detailing the address where the student can be found and their home address.Upgrades including Where The Heck Are My Smokes (WTHAMS) and Where Can I Ditch My New Pal (WCIDMNP) will be released later.

I remember in my late teens I had a watch into which you could program a few phone numbers or other messages, etc. On one setting, it would read
KEITHS
PLEASE
Came in handy in noisy bars trying to place an order. (No comment on my choice of beverage, Al.)

I was there on the Keiths wagon myself then so I can hardly chide. I invented the term "Vitamin K" for it. But when I open one now, all I smell is the bathroom at the Seahorse.
