At the bottom of Brock Street below Ontario, there is unpaved patch of cobbles. The never-endingly wonderful Forgotten New York has a section dedicated to cobbles and Belgian blocks. These Kingstonians may actually be cobbles, individually hand-cut and squared limestone rocks, rather than the mass produced post-1850 new global economy stuff named after the land of endives and sprouts.
