I am not on the anti-Arab bandwagon so popular with bloggers out there but - holy f*****g moley - is this what I can expect from my national government and diplomatic corps if I am tortured overseas after being falsely accused and jailed without trial?
Former Ottawa Liberal MP Mac Harb, who was recently appointed to the Senate, last night questioned allegations by William Sampson that he was tortured while held in prison in Saudi Arabia. This arsesmoochery is an embarrassment. No one seriously challenges the fact that Sampson and another six were imprisoned to cover up terrorist opposition activity in Saudi Arabia. Well, unless you are invited to S.A. embassy clinky-drinky do's in Ottawa."Here is someone who has been charged with a murder and who has been very successful in making himself, of being, a victim. I think we have to look at both sides of the issue," Mr. Harb said at a reception hosted by Saudi Ambassador Mohammed Al-Hussaini to honour the oil kingdom's national day.Mr. Sampson, who holds Canadian and British citizenship, has said he was tortured by Saudi officials and forced to confess to two car bombings, one of which killed British engineer Christopher Rodway in November 2000 in Riyadh.

Federal Liberals in power are good at arsemoochery.
Officially, S.A. Embassy staff or any good Muslim doesn't drink at clinky-dinky do's or anywhere else, for that matter. They party hard in private at their exclusive retreats
in Portugal, where burka-clad Muslim women on jet-skis are a common, and comical site...all out of site of their fellow countrymen to continue the charade.
We need more to speak up and challenge the politically correct stance that anything Arab/Muslim is above criticism, and to see that the open season on Christianity is just as wrong. It is NOT hip to be anti-Christian, and some aspects of the Muslim belief (radical Islamic ideals) are hiding behind thin veil of prejudice without risk of being whipped, jailed, or having their hand cut off. Thanks for drawing attention to this much deserved topic of discussion.

Once again - how can you possible imagine it is beyond criticism when anti-Islamic conspiracy theories are all you can hear? Your idea of an open season on Christians is one of the most befuddled ideas I have ever heard of.

Fuddle-duddle!
Such conspiricy theories are not all I hear. And just search on "christian bashing" to hear what others say about my idea.

You gotta love those cute little christians, they're the most ubiquitous group of believers and they still want to believe they're most persecuted. The age of your average Canadian christian is my only consolation.
