Yesterday, we had a bit of a big day here at GenX40 with 326 visits. While you are not a chatty lot, you seem to be are loyal and apparently tell your pals.
Just wondering if there is anything you need addressing from our end so that we can get the team on it. Topics? Infrastructure? More Norwegian flag photos?

How about the secret to a good backswing...?

Jeese, Wayne, you got me all excited. If I have not been clear before let the world know that I think golfing is a silly thing to do which has merit when done in a annoying, silly or ironic fashion. I have great respect for David Duval who apparently has come to the realization that he was good at a silly pointless thing. Tiger may be following.

More tales of swashbuckling legalese.
(Really)

I have to add to the IT Contracting Idiots' Guide, 'tis true.

Such blasphamy from a Scot!!
I agree with your hopes for Tiger, whom has projected himself as being greater then the game, and needs a bit of humility...and golf does that better then any other sport. The hype surrounding his career has attracted many who know nothing more about golf then him, and have no appreciation for what has made or makes it such a great game...all they know is "You're the man!".
I disagree with your comment about it being silly and your requirements for merit. It is sometimes annoying, and as ironic as life itself....but never silly...I have mentioned previously the life experiences one can draw from the game, and I am sure your Uncle in the "Old country" would concur.
I think David is a strong, confident man who will someday return to his "form" as they say...but if not, he will be just fine having had the experiences he has lived. This lesson about dealing with adversity is where golf gets its merit.
But don't be fooled, he does not for a minute consider golf a "silly, pointless thing"...not for a minute...even if he says so.

In my experience, "silly" and "pointless" are words quite often used to describe an event or action that the speaker cannot - or chooses not - to do well...
However, I play golf but I do not play golf in a manner which I consider well (certainly not by choice), and do not consider it "silly" or "pointless".
hmmm...this is indeed a complicated game requiring more thought.

People play golf for the same reason people scratch their genitals in public.

How about more of what is happening in your own backyard - the real Kingston revealed!
Alan - September 18, 2003 9:42 AM
That is a good idea and I am anticipating a kingston.cityfilter to tell me! One of the difficult things about moving is finding out the best things to do and the best places to shop. So far I have found a great fish shop, a Polish deli, a few good magazine shops and, of course, Pan Chancho bakery. I am working on a CD shop of choice. I will work on Kingston news.

YES. MORE NORWEGIAN FLAG PHOTOS WOULD IMPROVE THE SITE IMMEASURABLY. HOW COULD THEY NOT?
