It may be a bit late, but the following tidbits apply regardless of age: If you can nod your head knowingly to the beat of "Underwhelmed" or any early-era Sloan song, the kids may feel compelled bestow indie cred on your head. Just don't flash the "rawk-on" hand sign gratuitously during the rockers and you'll be fine! :)
