Steven Garrity -

Good lord, he looks like us! We'll be old soon too!

Arthur -

Hey. You're from Truro? Then you must remember Victoria Park?

Alan -

Arthur: I remember all the Parks - Jim and Joey were in my grade...but I especially remember Victoria.

Steve: My work here must be done if I have put that fear into ya. BTW - you only look like a 24 year old dressed up as a 17 year old now.

Mandy -

oh la la, what a cutie we have here :-)

Alan -

Young women finding me cute 23 years ago is a bit weird.

Wow. Oh. Then you've heard about the Civic Building, right?

Alan -

No - what about it?

Arthur -

No - what about it?

If I remember correctly, it was abolished in June or so, because it became a safety hazard (It was deregistered in November 2002 as a registered municipal heritage property). Nowadays, if you drive up to Prince Street, in the direction of the CEH Library (oh, it's a one-way anyways) it's a pretty weird sight: it's just plain empty. Plus that a handful of trees in front of the library that were uprooted, it's pretty scary open out there.

Alan -

Is that the old normal school behind the library? Spent much of my yute hanging around that area. Great old trees, you are right. Did Victoria Park get hammered? It will be strange to go back next summer for the Crow Bowl and see Halifax.

Dan James -

For the record, Steve is 25.

Mandy -

Dan,

how awful are you? Don't you know the rules? When someone is 25 you are to NEVER speak of it. NEVER!
Oh lord, I have just a month and a half left before I turn.... well.. that age.

Steven Garrity -

I'm practically dead.

Mandy -

some of us are not too keen on the numbers game.

and sorry Alan, didn't mean to weird you out.

Alan -

I didn't say bad weird, Mandy...and 17 to 25 is more than half the distance from 25 to 40 so perhaps semi-deadish, Steve.

Arthur -

Is that the old normal school behind the library?

Yep (if you meant the school across the boys and girls club and the Heritage museum: I think it's called Victoria street).

Did Victoria Park get hammered?

Yup (but not as noticable like say, Queen street).

It will be strange to go back next summer for the Crow Bowl and see Halifax.

It's straight aside the 102. Big sign. It says Truro. You can't miss it :-)
