William Blake around 200 years ago wrote something like:
Little Lamb, who made thee?On the second question, I did. I have been eating a 40 buck hunk of lamb hind-quarter since Saturday...and I am glad I have. I am not a big red meat eater, buy a steak maybe once every couple of months and eat soy / tofu whenever I can. There is something, however, in the genes about interupting the path to muttonhood early on. And no crass beastiality jokes of which for some reason we Scots are the last acceptable butt. There is nothing sexy about mint jelly, roast totties and...hmm...on second thought, maybe there is.
Dost thou know who ate thee?
When I was a teen, I was cycling to my summer job and, going past a field of wee lambs and their mammies...my mouth watered pavlovianly. I can recount off the top of my head ten meals since which have been among my best all of which included bit of the wee fluffy beasties - especially the kidneys - isn't lamb kidney what's had on toast in Ulysses? So, thanks to ewe and the rest of ya - you are appreciated.
