Finding new writers in this ill-named medium of personal webpages is difficult. To your right you'll find some of my favoured who are mostly people I know, people who know people I know, people who write about Halifax and people who link to me - especially the surprisingly faithful "Glenn", an early adopter and photographer in Denver whose alt tag over my link is very kind indeed for someone whose writing and art bears no apparent content overlap with mine (Ed.: "except quality", I hear you all roar as one - I blush).
In addition to these, I have tried to expand on a few topics: Atlantic Canadians abroad, real ale fans, favorite team fans, PWP* theorists. While there is some overlap, I am largely disinterested by US and US-global politics as points made are easily extreme and pre-determined as well as five times removed from actuality. "Centerfield" is hopefully an exception to at least the first problem. It would be nice to find comment about being an ordinary joe subject to governance as opposed to people who actually think they are tantamount to The New York Times or The Globe and Mail. I think "David" (as distinct from the "Daves") does this well with his personal manifesto - even if it's content is generally wacko (Ed.: hehe!).
Please forward any links you find worthy.
*"PWP" is the better if unused word for this medium as it is sounded out as "poop" - a somewhat less offensive onomatopoeic than "blog" as you know what bodily function is being referred to and it is generally a solitary and private act. Hence: "I am pwping on my pwp."
