I gave a lecture this morning at Queens to an undergrad class on PIPEDA and GIS applications. It is was interesting, fairly off the cuff stuff but I came a way with a life principle: do not wear a dark shirt, use a chalkboard and cross your arms when someone is asking a question - you have just floured your armpits and now look silly.

My Lady, who is a trainer and does the odd bit of lecturing, and is also prone to wearing black, roared with laughter when she read this.
A moral to us all I think.

This got a chuckle from me too. It is not easy to be an aging goth near a blackboard. Fortunately, Wilfrid Laurier uses whiteboards so my main hazard is inky hands.
