I like the BBC website but I have come across an irritating and somewhat ironic error. The BBC World site for its IT related show Click On-Line has one of those ticker tape thingies running along the top. Usually these things alert us, in seven words or less, to news about which we will soon receive full details. A heads up. A news flash. Like on the main BBC news site, for example. Everytime I go to the Click On-Line site, however, the two words "News Headlines" are blandly trooping by without any actual news headline actually appearing.
If you are going to put a widget into your site, use it.
Four Minutes Later: It appears that this newsless headline appears throughout the BBC World site. How many people can be asleep at work over there?
