I don't know what to make of these kinda wacky new bringin' it to the people ideas announced today by the young Ontario government. Sounds too much like a Maritime province mid-term opposition party plan gleaned from doctor's office reading materials. Do you really want to vote for your government via the internet when a ballot box is hard enough to protect from hackers: "hey, let's use the internet - that's new, right?" I am all for disclosure of everything not needing no disclosure but I do not know how a mandated election on the fourth anniversary of the last one gets anyone ahead. What if the bums need throwing out after two? I guess we can only look forward to the website of the forthcoming Democratic Renewal Secretariat for insights.
