Odd crimes sometimes do occur. Hope they had lots of batter.
THIEF STEALS 3,000 QUAHOGS - ALBERTON, P.E.I. -RCMP are searching for a thief who struck on the weekend, and made off with 3,000 quahogs, a kind of large clam. The owner of Mills Seafood discovered he was missing the quahogs on Sunday morning because the freezer lock was gone, according to police. The thief hit sometime between Friday evening and Sunday morning. The clams are worth around $600. A computer tower and cell phone were also reported missing.

Note on quahogs: PEI pronounciation is "quwa-hog" wheareas Nova Scotians call them "ko-hogs". Spotted a bluenoser in a spudly crowd once because of that.
